III. General information about data processing

"WOLF" in the following refers to the contractual service that is operated by the University of Worms at the address http://wolf.ztt.hs-worms.de. The results of the learning strategy test can then be downloaded by the participants as a PDF document.

The results of the tests are saved in the system without being linked to the personal data of the participants.
The anonymous results of the questionnaire can be used for scientific purposes.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.

IV. Provision of the website and creation of log files

1. Description and scope of data processing

When you access WOLF, your web browser sends general information that is saved by the University of Worms in so-called server log files. These are:

your browser type and its version,
the operating system you are using,
time of your request,
host name or IP address of your computer,
the page you visited previously (referrer), provided you reached WOLF via a link on this other website.

2. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 Para. 3 lit. b GDPR in conjunction § 3 LDSG.

3. Purpose of data processing

This data is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content of websites requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet. We statistically evaluate anonymous information of this type in order to optimize WOLF and the technology behind it.

The Internet site at Worms University of Applied Sciences does not use any techniques that aim to evaluate the access behavior of individual users.

4. Duration of storage

The server log files will be deleted after 14 days.

V. Use of cookies

WOLF uses so-called cookies in several places. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. The cookies used by WOLF are so-called “session cookies”, which ensure that your context is preserved when you switch from page to page in WOLF. This context is identified by WOLF via the associated session cookie and is automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Cookies do no damage to your computer and contain no viruses.

VI. E-mail contact

You can contact us via the email address provided on our website. The personal data of the user transmitted with the e-mail are stored here. In this context, the data is not passed on to third parties. The data will only be used to process the conversation.

IX Web Analytics with Plausible

For the statistical evaluation of the use of SGR-Chain, we use the privacy-friendly web analytics software Plausible Analytics. No cookies are set, and no personal data is permanently stored.

Plausible collects only aggregated information such as:

pages and URLs visited,
browser type and operating system,
time of page access,
referring page (referrer).

The IP address is processed in anonymized form and not stored permanently. There is no profiling, no cross-site tracking, and no sharing of data with third parties.
Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in data processing) in order to optimize our services technically and in terms of content.
